It's my birthday today. Woohoo! 18, so I'm supposed to be a grown up now, hehe, like thats gonna happen.

I got a laptop off my parents. Wow! It uses Windows Vista though, which I don't understand at all. So, I've got to teach myself to use that soon. And I've got to figure out how to get internets on it, sice we don't have a wireless connection.

Also, tomorrow is my one year dAnniversary! I love you, deviantART!

I intended on finishing colouring the drawing of Harle and Guile for these two 'occasions', which I started about a fortnight ago, but I forgot how long it takes me to finish a drawing.

I started colouring yesterday, so it should be up in the next month or so.

So, yay.

I know it was a week ago, but it's a really exciting story. ^.^

So. For New Years, I'd planned to hang out with a friend of mine and we were really excited because the previous year we'd stayed home alone watching movies (I watched the Notebook, she watched Love Actually). Anyway, at the last minute she got called into work, so she cancelled on me and I was stuck with no plans and I really didnt want to go to the carnival so I stayed home, alone. (And played chauffer for my parents and my brothers).

For my veiwing pleasure, I decided to watch a few episodes of Doctor Who (I got seasion 2 for Christmas ^.^). I watched 3 episodes; Girl in the Fireplace, The Idiot's Latern and the Impossible Planet. The last one scared me quite a lot (I scare easily okay? ).

(I swear, this story IS going somewhere)

So at 12:30, I'm in bed, reading my book, having a great old time. Then all of a sudden TWANG! (onomatopeaia, baby) my brothers guitar in his room sort of plucked itself. And I was home alone and freaked out from the Doctor, so I froze and thought "Oh god, a crazed axe-murderer is in there and hes gonna kill me".

So I'm sitting there frozen when my guitar, sitting right next to me, does the exact same thing. So natraully I thought "Aliens!" Then I was convinced the TARDIS was gonna materialise in the next room(I envisioned exactly where and I was gonna get to meet DAVID TENNANT! (illogical, I know ) But then I started to worry, what if I was the one that dies, that they couldnt save. But to be honest, I was more worried about not meeting him than dying.

But then. A cockaroach walked into me room. Then it flew around. And it dawned on me; it was the one that made those noises.

Still, I remain convinced that it was a sign for the year to come and I'm gonna be the new companion (Even if it isnt with David Tennant, but still, he's younger, so somehow, more attainable, hurray!).

And yes, I watch too much Doctor Who
